Charles Bertrand d'Entraygues (French, b. 1851) The Young Magician Signed "D'Entraygues" l.r. Oil on canvas, 15 1/8 x 22 in. (38.4 x 55.7 cm), framed. Condition: Retouch, craquelure. With a canvas stamp from P. Contet, Paris, on the reverse. Areas of retouch along the top and bottom center edges of canvas: top center area measuring 3 1/2 inches across and 3/4 in. wide at its maximum, bottom center area measuring approximately 10 inches across and 1/4 inch wide, with the retouch applied with a fluid brush stroke.
