Mark Markov-Grinberg (Russian, 1907-2003) Public Letter to a Slacker from a Record-Breaking Collective Farm, Stalingrad Region, 1933, a later printing. Titled, signed (in Cyrillic), and dated in pencil on the reverse. Gelatin silver print, image size 15 x 22 in. (38.0 x 55.8 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Minor handling ripplings and creases, subtle surface abrasions. N.B. Sold for the benefit of the collections of the Smith College Museum of Art.
