Georges Rouault (French, 1871-1958) Se réfugie en ton coeur, va-nu-pieds de malheur, 1922 from MISERERE, published 1948, edition of 425 plus proofs (Wofsy, 111). Monogrammed and dated within the plate. Etching with aquatint on paper, plate size 19 1/8 x 14 5/8 in. (48.4 x 37.0 cm), framed. Condition: Gentle soiling to margins, rippling, not examined out of frame. The margins are over 1 1/4 inches, and have minor soiling. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
