Blanche Lazzell (American, 1878-1956) Amaryllis, 1931. Signed and dated "Blanche Lazzell-1931" in pencil l.r. Color monotype on paper, image size 13 3/4 x 9 7/8 in. (34.9 x 25.0 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Provenance: Purchased through a member of the artist's family in the Midwest, c. 1990. Out of the frame the sheet measures 15 3/4 x 12 inches, and is toned and lightstruck, although the colors remain bright and saturated. There is masking tape along the upper and lower edges on the verso, as well as bleed-through. There are minor creases to the lower margin.
