Marino Marini (Italian, 1901-1980) Il Sogno del Cavaliere , plate XI from L'ALBUM No I , 1960, edition of 50 (Guastalla A61). Signed "MARINO" in pencil l.r., numbered "34/50" in pencil l.l. Etching on paper, plate size 13 7/8 x 11 5/8 in. (35.1 x 29.5 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 1/2 inch, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet is Rives paper and measures 20 1/8 x 14 7/8 inches, with deckled right and lower edges. There is a thinned spot to the left margin on the reverse (not detectable on the recto). There is a stray pen mark to the margin near the lower right corner.
