Paul César Helleu (French, 1859-1927) Two Portraits: Femme au chapeau and Buste de jeune femme. Signed "Helleu" in pencil l.l. and l.r., respectively. Etchings with drypoint on paper, plate sizes to 22 1/4 x 13 3/4 in. (56.4 x 34.8 cm), framed. Condition: Toning, pale staining to Chapeau , water or similar staining and surface rubs and abrasions into the paper within the image of Buste , not examined out of frames. The plate of the smaller work ( Buste ) measures 20 1/4 x 11 3/4 in.
