Signed and dated "J Johns '80" in pencil l.r., numbered "73/88" in pencil l.l. Etching with aquatint in colors on paper, plate size 23 1/2 x 17 3/4 in. (59.5 x 45.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 2 1/4 inches or more with deckled edges, gentle rippling, minor handling crease to upper margin, not examined out of frame. The work has not been removed from its frame, but the entire sheet is visible (it measures 29 5/5 x 22 1/4 inches) and is "floated." There are ripples visible in the upper margin near the corners and in the middle that may have been caused by hinges or foam for floating purposes.
