Molded Gilt Copper Rooster Weather Vane, America, late 19th century, large flattened full-body figure mounted on a sphere with molded feathers, and sheet copper tail and feet, weathered gilt surface with streaks of verdigris, including stand, (dents, bullet holes), overall ht. 34 1/4, lg. 24 1/2 in. Sphere dented inward on front, bullet holes through neck one leg, 1 in. split on tail.
