Queen Anne Walnut and Maple Fan-carved Scroll-top High Chest of Drawers, possibly Salem, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, the upper section with swan's neck cresting centering a scroll cutout, with three flame-carved and turned finials set into the lower section with valanced apron, original brasses, old refinish, ht. 88 3/4, case wd. 40, case dp. 20 in. patch to lower section above left front leg; flame-carved finials may be original; shrinkage cracks to sides; the high chest is very clean throughout.
