Pewter Teapot, probably William Calder, Providence, Rhode Island, first half 19th century, pear-shape with domed lid, black-painted pewter handle, worn eagle mark with faint "PROVID. " on base, (imperfections), ht. 7 1/4 in. polished surface with unobtrusive signs of wear, (small dents and pitting), spout tip appears repaired, handle probably repainted.
