Painted Leather Fire Bucket, c. 1826, centered with a round light blue reserve inscribed "No 1/Shackford/1826" flanked by crossed laurel leaves, on a black ground, with yellow-painted collar, (wear, handle cracked and detached on one side), ht. to top of collar 15 1/2 in. The seam on the back has split, paint wear, abrasions.
