Pair of German Gilt . 812 Silver and Shell Glass-mounted Figures of Musicians, possibly Nurnberg, late 18th/early 19th century, the two singing figures with seashell bodies, each holding weapons and instruments, one with a halberd, horn, and lantern, the other with a bell, sheet of music, and sword, both with multicolored glass cabochons mounted to the clothing, shoes, and bases, ht. to 7 5/8 in., approx. 19.2 troy oz. Each in very good condition with no evidence of any damages or restorations.
