Five-piece Assembled Victorian Acid-etched Silver Tea and Coffee Service, Sheffield, 1851, maker's mark R&S to four pieces, the waste bowl with marks for Thomas Henry Francis & Frederick Francis, London, 1854, comprised of paneled pear-shaped coffeepot and creamer and squat melon-shaped teapot, open sugar, and waste bowl, all with acid-etched scroll and floral decoration to sides, shaped C-scroll rims, and ear-shaped handles, on hexagonal feet, the teapot and coffeepot with spire finials and ivory heat stops to handles, coffeepot ht. 11 in., approx. 89.7 troy oz.
