Six Metal Boxes, four brass: a man-in-the-crescent-moon match safe, ht. 1 7/8, one cushion-shaped with wrigglework to border of the cover, with two nesting compartments, lg. 2 5/8, the third oval with engraved inscription to cover, the bottom with signed flower, lg. 2 11/16; and a near-circular unadorned box with hinged lid, lg. 3; a chased copper box with lid featuring heraldic devices, sides with scrolling acanthus leaves, and bottom with double faces flanking central scene, lg. 5 1/8; and a pewter shoe with a hinged lid, lg. 3 in. Brass cushion-shape with nesting compartments, oval brass with engraved inscription and flower, and copper box all with significant rubbing to engraving. Copper box with re-soldering to lid and seams of body. Near circular brass box with scattered dents.
