Three Enamel Boxes, England and France, late 18th/early 19th century, one egg-shaped with periwinkle blue ground overlaid with a brown wigglework pattern, the lid inscribed "The Gift of a Friend," lg. 1 7/8; one quatrefoil-shaped with white lid decorated in black with a view of a house and inscribed "Remember my Friend All things have an End," with pale blue body and gilt-metal mounts, lg. 2 1/4; the third oval, with a molded cover of a dog and her pup, the bottom with a hand-painted polychrome scene of a dog and a bird, the interior with a flower spray, lg. 2 3/8 in. Egg-shaped box lacking possible nutmeg-grater insert. Otherwise in good condition. Remember my Friend... with loss to gilt on mounts. Otherwise in good condition.
