Four Russian Boxes, three black lacquer with polychrome scenes, signed: a square box with hinged lid with a woman feeding birds, ht. 2 1/2, one circular with scene of three musicians and a dancing bear, dia. 3, the third rectangular with a variety of birds on a branch, lg. 2 3/4; the fourth box circular with enameled mother-of-pearl cover with a scene of a polo match, mounted to brass, the body with frieze of chased flowerheads, dia. 2 1/2 in. Woman feeding birds with loss to lacquer on one bottom corner. Lid does not completely close. Dancing bear with matrix of lacquer cracks to lid and body. Polo match with minor enamel loss.
