Bigelow Bros. & Kennard Coin Silver Presentation Coffee Service, Boston, 1845-54, comprised of urn-form coffeepot, creamer, and two-handled covered sugar, the sugar and coffeepot with acorn finials to lid, each with several beaded bands to body and base, engraved Greek key design, and reeded ear-shaped handle, with inscription reading "Presented to Miss N. W. Manning by her Friends and former Pupils, 1854," on tiered domed foot with beaded base, coffeepot with ivory heat stops to handle, ht. to 10 1/2 in., approx. 48 troy oz. Coffeepot: Several dents, mostly to the engraved side. Sugar: cover rim bent, foot slightly compressed. Creamer: large crease under the spout and with several light dents.
