Buccellati Silver- and Amethyst-mounted Agate Box, Italy, 20th century, the box with top and bottom of translucent yellowish-brown marbled agate, set within a parcel-gilt silver frame mounted with ten faceted amethysts, marked "M. Buccellati - Milano - Roma - Firenze - New York" to top inside rim, in original silk- and velvet-lined calf case, box ht. 7/8, lg. 5 1/4, wd. 4 1/8 in. Good general condition. No cracks or chips to agate or amethyst. No repairs.
