William Dean Fausett (American, 1913-1998) Ski Country Signed "Dean Fausett" l. l., inscribed "...Dean Fausett/.../Dorset, Vt." on the reverse, identified on a label from Cracker Barrel Art Exhibition, Newbury, Vermont, affixed to the back of the frame. Oil on Masonite, 16 1/8 x 20 1/8 in., framed. Condition: Areas of alligatoring, yellowed varnish, surface grime. N.B. The view depicted is in Dorset, Vermont. Provenance: Gift from the artist to Sandy Conti; estate of Santo 'Sandy' Conti (1918-2008), New York.
