Oriental circular porcelain dish with white, black and orange peonies and buds on border above white and peach diaper patterned decoration surrounded a red oxide and cerulean rim containing a circular medallion with two phoenix birds with long feathers surrounded by green foliate forms and additional peony flowers. Polychrome decoration on white ground. Decorative plate marked on bottom with red under glaze. Height of plate 1.75 inches. Diameter of 8 inches.
