Walter Gramatté (German, 1897-1929) Frau Hella, 1920, trial proof (Eckhardt, 143). Signed and dated "Walter Gramatté 20" in pencil l.r., titled l.l., monogrammed and dated within the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 12 3/4 x 9 1/2 in., matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more, unobtrusive toning. The sheet measures 17 1/8 x 11 5/8 inches. There are handling creases especially to the lower margin.
