Attributed to William Hurd Lawrence (American, 1866-1938) Robbins Reef Lighthouse, Upper Bay, New York . Signed "Wm Lawrence" l.r., titled on a label affixed to the back of frame, and with the artist's card stapled to the frame. Oil on canvas, 20 x 24 in., framed. Condition: Mild surface grime. N.B. Artist/illustrator William Hurd Lawrence lived in New York City and on Staten Island, near to the site depicted here. However, he typically signed his works with a monogram.
