Federal Mahogany Carved and Mahogany Veneer Inlaid Reverse Serpentine Chest of F North Shore of Massachusetts, c. 1790, the shaped top on conforming case and bracket feet centering a shaped shell-carved pendant, old bail brasses, refinished, (minor imperfections), ht. 34 1/2, case wd. 37 1/2, dp. 21 3/4 in. missing corner glue block or two, minor scratching in top, stringing missing at canted corner of base, a little veneer missing in the same area.
