Lot of Blue and White Chinese Export Porcelain Tableware, China, early 19th century, thirty-three Imperial (gilt rimmed) Nanking pattern items: ten large tea bowls, thirteen small tea bowls, nine large saucers, eleven small saucers; six plain Nanking saucers, and sixteen pots du creme with covers decorated with waterway scenes, sixty-five items total, (imperfections) ht. 2-3, dia. 3 5/8-6 1/4 in. Provenance: The Paine family of Worcester, Massachusetts. ten large tea bowls- nine very good, one with 1/2 in. rim chip and five hairlines from rim; thirteen small tea bowls- eight with much of gilt worn off rim, one with gilt wear and a 1/2 in. hairline from rim, four with chips, hairlines and gilt wear; nine large saucers-four with minor gilt wear, five with rim chips, hairlines and gilt wear.. eleven small saucers-one with gilt wear, ten with hairlines, rim chips, and gilt wear. six Nanking saucers- five good condition, one with a small rim chip. sixteen pots du creme with covers- twelve in very good condition, three with a hairline from the rim, one with a small rim chip.
