Silver Porringer, George Hanners (1696-1740), Boston, early 18th century, bulbous circular bowl with domed bottom, cast handle pierced in a keyhole pattern engraved "H" over "S*H" above "R C" on top of handle, faint crowned "GH" initials over a pellet touchmark at bowl center, (subtle dents and scratches on bowl rim and sides, reinforced under handle attachment), ht. 2 1/4, bowl rim dia. 5 1/2 in., approx. 7.5 troy oz.
