$5,333
Framed Fraktur with Owls and Flowers, probably Pennsylvania, early 19th century, watercolor and ink on paper, depicting an urn issuing large stylized flower blossoms, flanked by two owls, (toning, minor light stains), 6 x 3 3/4 in. , in a period red-painted wood frame. Not laid down. The fraktur is adhered to the backing card at the top left and bottom right corners with what looks like double-sided tape. The card it is adhered to has old masking tape around the edges and it looks like there is a light brownish stain around the edges where this tape is. There is a 1/8 in tear at the upper left edge.
