Paint-decorated Rocking Chair, Pennsylvania, c. 1830, the scrolled cresting above a pierced lyre-form splat with scrolling arms on turned spindles, apple green paint with freehand painted roses and black striping, (minor imperfections), ht. 40 1/2, seat ht. 18 in. some paint loss to crestrail and arms.
