Three Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Children's ABC Plates, England, early 19th century, all with a raised alphabet around the rim and polychrome highlights, one depicting a man "SPYING," one with a man "SNUFFING," and one showing a butcher's market stall, (imperfections), dia. 6, 5, 4 1/2 in., respectively. Spying- light toning, Snuffing- 2 in. rim repair; butcher- glaze wear.
