Historical Blue Transfer-decorated Washbowl, Joseph Stubbs, Burslem, England, early 19th century, round, flared-rim bowl depicting the "UPPER FERRY BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER SCHUYLKILL," with floral, foliate and eagle border, stamped title on reverse, dia. 12 1/2, ht. 4 1/2 in. Minor glaze wear around rim and base edge little brownish speckles around base, minor light scratches to bowl interior.
