Large Cobalt-decorated Wide-mouth Stoneware Jar, Pennsylvania, early 19th century, five-gallon ovoid jar with applied lug handles, decorated about the shoulder with cobalt blue flower blossoms and brushed swags, with blue-daubed handle terminals, (minor chips, base drilled), ht. 15 1/2 in. Three small rim chips, several knicks to shoulder lines,1/3 in. small handle edge chip, small hole drilled in center of base.
