Liverpool Transfer-Printed Creamware Jug, England, early 19th century, one side depicting a scene entitled "Washington In Glory", "America In Tears", the reverse with a scene titled "PUTTING OFF", transfer printed wreath under the spout with monogram, vestiges of gilt decoration on rim and body, (imperfections), ht. 10 in. 1 3/4 in. line from rim, tanish discoloration, gilt wear, glaze flaking on underside of base.
