Framed English Needlework Picture of a Hunt Scene, late 18th century, after a sporting print by Wooten, stitched in silk threads on striped twilled linen ground, depicting three hunters, three hounds, a rabbit, and a stag amidst two trees and a large central flower bouquet, sight size 29 1/4 x 13 1/2, frame 31 1/8 x 15 1/2 in. Provenance: American Art Galleries, 1923, Benquat Sale. Light fading and with heavy waterstaining to left side; one inch hole along upper right edge; likely brittile, not examined out of frame.
