Dresden-type and Drawn-work White Linen Sampler, possibly Pennsylvania, late 18th century, the length of linen with rows of lace panels, some rows made by threads being drawn away and some retained to form a geometric pattern; some with sections of the linen ground cut out and filled with needle made lace using the button hole or hollie point stitch, the lower section of the linen panel with rows of geometric white silk embroidered designs, (toning, stains), approx. 6 1/4 x 35 in.
