Harley Manlius Perkins (American, 1883-1964) Still Life with Bread . Signed "Harley Perkins" u.l., dated "1918" in ink on the stretcher, titled and inscribed ".../Lent by/Mr. and Mrs. James W. Perkins" on a typed label affixed to the stretcher, and inscribed "Harley Perkins/Fenway Studios" on a hand-written label affixed to the back of the frame. Oil on canvas, 14 x 16 in, framed. Condition: Subtle rippling left edge, surface grime. On a "Bay State Stretcher/Made by/Wadsworth Howland.../Boston-Mass" and in a hand-finished frame.
