Queen Anne Walnut Carved Side Chair, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, with trapezoidal slip seat, shaped front rail and frontal cabriole legs with carved beaded knee returns continuing to below the knee, old surface, (imperfections), ht. 42, seat ht. 18 1/2 in. The crestrail above the splat has a patch 8 inches by 1/2 inch. The right stile at the crestrail has a patch which is hard to see. Right front side return is replaced. seat frame replaced.
