Two Wooden Diptych Sundials, probably Germany, mid-19th century, the first in fruitwood, with printed listing of latitudes of principal cities on the exterior lid, printed dials inside the lid in Roman numerals, horizontal dial with central compass with Arabic numerals, string gnomon, lg. 2 1/2, the second, with dial incised on horizontal and vertical surface, central compass and brass medallion on lid, lg. 2 3/8 in.
