Burl Walnut Five Tune Musical Tall Clock by Klaas Johan Andriesen, Grau, Netherlands, with caddy top and gilded figure of Atlas, blind fret work, inlaid serpentine waist door with gilded brass pendulum aperture set on a bombe base with claw feet, 13-inch brass composite dial signed on pierced name plate, Klaas Adrriesen Grou , Roman numerals, day-of-the-week and day-of-the-month indications, moon's age in the arch, and attached five tune selection dial marked, Denagtwagt, Marsch Huron, Wilhelmus, Psalm 25, and Morgenster , three-train, five-tune musical movement with a nest of eleven bells and twenty-three hammers, two additional larger bells for Dutch striking, tune cylinder mounted front to back all powered by three brass cased weights and regulated by a second's beating pendulum, ht. 119 in. Gilded figure of Atlas and top section of caddy are probable replacements, sound frets replaced, object left side sound frets damaged but with the clock, case refinished, some losses to veneers, movement complete, period weights and pendulum.
