The Shop Sign of William Bond & Son, Inc. , 9 Park Street, Boston, used above the door at 9 Park Street, where Bond Regulator No. 396 provided "Bond's Standard Time" for New England, hardwood, painted sand finish with gilded letters and Pegasus mounted above, lg. approx. 56, ht. 61 in. This sign was shown in a photograph in the Christian Science Monitor, February 16th, 1944 along with Bond Regulator No. 396 in the shop window. Established in 1793, the William Bond & Son shop on Park Street was in the shadow of the Boston Statehouse.
