Mahogany Four-Column Shelf Clock by Heman Clark, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1820, painted iron dial attributed to Boston dial painters Curtis and Nolan and signed H. Clark, Plymouth, Con. , Arabic numerals, gilt scroll and shell decorated spandrels, original reverse-painted tablet with shell and leaf stenciled border on a blue ground and gilt band framing a domestic dwelling, eight-day time and strike skeletonized plate movement with rack and snail strike, recoil escapement, two compound-suspended lead weights and regulated by a brass faced pendulum, ht. 26 in.
