Mahogany Pillar and Scroll by Eli Terry & Sons, Plymouth, Connecticut, c. 1830, painted wood Arabic numeral dial, reverse-painted tablet depicting a classical building on the water, printed paper maker's label, thirty-hour wooden movement with two cast iron weights and pendulum, ht. 30 in. Case refinished, feet and skirting replaced, scroll broken and repaired, scrolls appear to be original but cleaned on the back and re-glued, finials are replacements, paint losses on the original painted tablet, original weights, pendulum.
