Three Marked Bayonets, America, all with triangular blades, one with single flute on flat surface and marked US on the base of the blade, lg. 17 1/4, one with a large flute and marked US NS , lg. 19, and the last, marked US on the base of the blade and a note of provenance attached citing use by Pvt. Steven Munson (1759-1824), enlisted 17 September 1776 and saw battles at Millstone Brook and Bound Brook, New Jersey, Mad Fort and Brandywine, Germantown and Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, between 1777-1778, lg. 20 in.
