Antique Silver Pocket Watch, Patek Philippe, c. 1890, in the 17th/18th century style, the white enamel dial with Roman numeral indicators, outer minute track, and outermost five-minute Arabic numerals, removable bezel with rocaille motifs, the case back with "repousse" allegorical theme, 36 mm, cuvette and movement no. 78482, cuvette also no. 201083, signed on the dial, movement, and cuvette, (lacking crown and stem). Note: A similar example of a pair-case pocket watch in 18kt gold with an identical allegorical scene and sold in 1889 is pictured in Patek Philippe Geneve , Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, p. 126. Missing stem and crown, movement appears rust free, some tarnish, plastic crystal yellowed, tarnish, wear to crispness to scene on case, currently not running.
