Continental Gold and Enamel Egg Cup, late 19th century, conical, with scalloped rim, the sides constructed with three black and white enamel floral roundels joined with delicate beaded wire scrollwork panels, on trumpet foot with black and white enameled flat leaves, ht. 1 7/8 in., approx. 10.9 dwt. the wirework panels showing a few small spots of resolder attaching them in place. one panel loose, and in need of reattaching. a few small spots of enamel loss at white enamel in rim and at base of two of the floral roundels. unmarked. test as about 14kt gold.
