French Hour-Repeating Carriage Clock, with brass and beveled glass case, enameled Arabic numeral chapter ring on a brass mat, fluted columns with corinthian capitals at the corners and eight-day spring powered time, strike and hour repeat on command movement with platform escapement and unusual rear-mounted rack and snail, ht. with handle extended, 8 1/2 in. Brass case in old surface, all glass and dial in excellent condition, movement running, hour repeat functioning as designed but movement should be cleaned.
