Miniature Hour Repeating Carriage Clock, France, c. 1890, the gilt brass case with beveled glass on all sides, carrying handle, engraved dial surround, 1 1/4 in. dia. enameled dial with Roman numerals, eight-day time only movement with cylinder platform escapement and unusual front plate-mounted hour repeat mechanism with activation button, together with the original leather bound carrying case, ht. with handle extended, 5 in. All glass in good condition, gilding on case is the original, movement wants cleaning and adjustment of hour repeat function, leather carrying case in delicate condition.
