Bronze Keel Pin and Wrought Nails from the U. S.S. New Hampshire, Paul Revere Foundry, c. 1818, the bronze keel pin was found at the wreck of the U.S.S. New Hampshire in forty feet of water off the coast of Manchester-by-the-Sea in 1962, lg. 28 in., mounted on a display board, together with two wrought iron nails from the same site. Note: The U.S.S. New Hampshire sunk in a storm in while being towed up to Bath Maine for salvage in 1928. These objects were found during a scuba diving visit to the site in 1962.
