Emile Louis Picault (French 1833-1915), "Voltaire", patinated bronze. Signed on base "Emile Louis Picault". Voltaire depicted at full length and in the round. Figure stands in an contrapposto stance with one hand on his hip and the other holding a book titled "La Henriade 1720". "VOLTAIRE" engraved in square base. Later converted into an electrified table lamp. Height 21.25 inches.
