Sewing Box, 19th century, rectangular box with chamfered bottom ends, the exterior decorated with remnants of scenic lithographs on paper, with black-printed tulip border; three hinged lids, over central and side compartments, the raised central compartment fitted with a lift-out compartmented tray, raised on brass paw feet, (surface wear and losses), ht. 6 3/4, wd. 15, dp. 8 in. Heavy wear to varnished surface, the round lithograph on the centeral lid is almost all worn off, a few small segments of the front lithograph are worn off. Some interior compartment furnishings are missing or loose, no sewing implements are present.
