Chinese Enamel and Gilt-Decorated Porcelain Covered Vase, elongated oval form, domed cover with lion finial decorated with four small reserves with painted landscapes, the vase decorated on the sides with two large oval panels with gilt bamboo borders depicting landscapes with figures in a courtyard, flanked by small shaped reserves depicting figures and landscapes, red, black, and gilt octagon and square cell background, (wear, rim chip on cover overhang edge, rim hairline), ht. 20 in. 1/2 in. rim chip on cover, 2 in. hairline on rim, wear to gilt.
