Federal Mahogany Inlaid Pembroke Table, possibly Middle Atlantic States, c. 1790-1800, the top with string-inlaid border and ovolo corners, on square tapering legs inlaid with urns within ovals, descending bellflowers, stringing, and ending in cuffs, old refinish, (imperfections), ht. 29, closed wd. 19 1/2, dp. 30 in. Eastern white pine among seconadary woods, original brasses, there are inlay patches to the top, including a 5 inch piece to the top, and other patches, to 2 inches in length. There is a 1 inch repair at the rule joint where an original piece was glued back in. The drawer could use renailing at the back.
